Comparto un collage in progress (abierto al cambio) inspirado en el poema de Lourdes Vázquez, incluido en su más reciente publicación She Was So Naked.

The few times I've seen her she's silent.

Or rather, she's found without

voice or movement in her body.

Something is broken in there:

neurons no longer work,

nonexistent enzymes.

Something is broken, I've said it already,

with the exception of her gaze.

There are no sparks of melancholy,

nor can one glimpse compassionate or loving signs.

Only the concrete perception of

a bony and wrathful old woman

I relive the life we had together,

when we imaged the possible.
